The wooden part of your pepper grinder is hand turned using the lathe. To clean use a damp cloth with mild soap to wipe down. Never soak in water or put in the dishwasher. Periodically you may wish to treat the wood with mineral oil or a mineral oil/wax mixture (such as my wood butter)​
