About Me 

Hi I'm Christine, originally from Nova Scotia I made my way to Quadra Island 12 years ago.

 

Surrounded by lush forests and rocky beaches, Quadra Island is an inspiring place to make, to tinker, and to create. 

 

I have always worked wth a variety of mediums, but there is something so satisfying about working with wood, so in 2019 I moved to Port Alberni for the Furniture Design and Joinery program to really hone in on my woodworking skills.

 

This Spring I built my shop on our small hobby farm, here on Quadra Island. In-between chasing our 5 chickens out of the shop (they love it in there almost as much as I do) I make functional art for the home. I enjoy working with a variety of local hardwoods and on occasion some exotics. 

 

I am beyond excited to start Rogue Wave Woodworks and I look forward to accepting visitors to my studio when it is safe to do so.
